Project Overview
Sharek is Saudi Arabia's first interactive sports platform, developed by the Ministry of Sports, that hosts, organizes, and manages sporting events of all kinds in the Kingdom. Whether it's large-scale tournaments or community programs, each event is designed around the needs of the public.
As the lead UI/UX Designer for Sharek, my primary responsibilities included:
User Research: Conducting interviews and surveys to understand the needs and preferences of our diverse user base.
Information Architecture: Structuring the platform to ensure intuitive navigation and easy access to information.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Creating low and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize design solutions.
Visual Design: Developing a cohesive visual language that aligns with the brand identity and appeals to the target audience.
Usability Testing: Conducting tests to gather feedback and iterating on designs to enhance user satisfaction.

Discovery Phase
Stakeholder Interviews: Engaged with key stakeholders, including event organizers and ministry officials, to align on goals and expectations.
User Personas: Developed detailed personas representing various user groups, such as athletes, spectators, and event organizers.
Define Phase
User Journeys: Mapped out user journeys to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Feature Prioritization: Collaborated with the development team to prioritize features based on user needs and technical feasibility.
Design Phase
Wireframes: Sketched initial wireframes to establish the layout and flow of key screens.
Prototyping: Built interactive prototypes using tools like Figma to simulate user interactions.
Visual Design: Applied a modern and clean aesthetic, incorporating the brand's color palette and typography to create an engaging interface.

Challenges and Solutions
